He’s a Professional Member of the National Speakers Association for over twenty years, Board of Directors member of Society of Hospitality and Foodservice Management, Professional Member of the Association of Nutrition Foodservice Professionals, National Board of Directors of the Food Recovery Network, and Past President of the Alumni Board of Directors of the College of Family and Consumer Sciences at The University of Georgia. He holds several awards and accolades because of his significant commitment and contributions to the hospitality industry and the community. He was honored as FACS (Family and Consumer Sciences) 100 Centennial Honoree of the College of Family and Consumer Sciences for The University of Georgia and BACCHUS Alumni Award Nominee of Oxford Brookes University in the “Major Contribution to the Hospitality Industry” category.
